English, Hindi and Gujarati

Speak in the language that feels most natural to you, so you can say what you mean without translating yourself first.

Sometimes the right word only exists in your mother tongue. Here, you are free to use it.

Trust based, no proof required

If money is tight, you can still be seen. A limited number of spaces are offered on a trust-based rate, with a waitlist when they are full.

Your first steps, made simple

01

A gentle start

Your first session is really just a conversation. Nothing to prepare, and you only share what feels right on the day.

02

We find the fit

We talk about what brought you here and what you are hoping for, and check that we are a good fit for each other.

03

We set the pace

Some people come for a season, others for longer. You are never locked in, and you lead the pace.

04

You stay in choice

Telehealth or in person, weekly or less often, in the language that feels most natural to you.

How I work

Care that meets you where you are

My approach is culturally responsive and trauma-informed, and it is openly decolonised, anti-racist and social-justice informed. Every part of you is welcome here, and the space is LGBTIQA+SB affirming.

I draw on a range of approaches and choose them to fit you, rather than fitting you to a method.

A common question

How is a counsellor different to a psychologist?

A psychologist and a counsellor both support your mental health, we just train and work a little differently. I focus on the relationship between us, and on understanding you in the context of your culture, history and the world around you.

As a PACFA registered counsellor I am not able to offer Medicare rebates. The upside is that you do not need a GP referral or a Mental Health Care Plan to see me, so you can start whenever you are ready.

If at any point you need a psychologist or psychiatrist, I will help you find the right person. Getting you the right support matters more than keeping you here.

Taking the first step is hard. You do not have to do it alone

Reach out when you are ready. A booking enquiry or a free 30-minute consult is simply a conversation, with no pressure and no obligation.
